How we keep you safe
Good results start with good judgement. These are the promises behind every appointment.
Consultation comes first
Every new client starts with a consultation with Jo or one of our nurse practitioners. We go through your medical history, medication and any skin conditions, and check for anything that means a treatment isn't suitable. If a treatment isn't right for you, we'll say so.
Who treats you
- Jo Valentine is the founder of Rejuvenating Aesthetics and an aesthetician with CPD-accredited training. Her certificates are on the clinic wall for you to see.
- Our nurse practitioners carry out treatments that need a medical professional, including PRP, and any treatment that needs a prescriber.
- Scarlet looks after facials and our teen skin appointments.
Age policy
Our treatments are for adults aged 18 and over, and we may ask for photo ID. The only exception is Scarlet's facial, a gentle treatment that doesn't break the skin, booked by a parent or guardian.
Time to decide
You'll never be pushed into a treatment. You're welcome to go home after your consultation, read your information and book when you're ready.
Information before and after
We email your consultation form and consent information before you arrive, and give you written aftercare to take home. Following it makes a real difference to your results.
If something doesn't feel right
Call or text Jo on 07927 912851. Some swelling, redness or bruising can be normal after treatment, but we would always rather hear from you. If you have severe pain, changes in skin colour, problems with your vision or difficulty breathing, call 999 or go to A&E.
